City of greenbelt: crisis intervention counselors work in collaboration with the greenbelt police department to offer immediate services to individuals who come into contact with the police, often as a result of a crime or other emergency situation. vocational/educational counselors offer ged classes, an individual and group tutoring program to assist students in school, and a job bank program. maintains an up-to-date referral listing of local resources, such as support groups and shelters. all services are free of charge and available to greenbelt residents.
